The other day our teacher explained us how to do a formal letter  and then we had to do one. I did it with another girl.

Dear Sir or Madam,

We represent a group called The Green Lovers. We are writing to you because we want to protest against your idea of selling the land of the Ravenclaw's Park and build a motorway.

In our opinion, motorways are dangerous because they pollute and they have the possibility of burning. If you wipe out the park, a lot of kids that used to enjoy it will be unhappy, and the animals will die if they don't find their homes in the park. On the other hand, our organization fights for preserving the nature in our town so if you build a motorway it won't be as aesthetically as the park.

We have therefore decided to take action and we are going to organize a protest and collect signatures of the population. For this reason we hope that you change your opinion and preserve the Ravenclaw's Park.
