Opinion Essay- Mixed School

Hi there!

Here's another opinion essay, this time I didn't write this alone, I wrote with another three people. I repeat, sorry if my opinion offends someone, it is not my intention.

As usual we did a brainstorming:

  -BRAINSTORMING-

Opinion: We are in favor of mixed school.

Reasons: 1. Both have to understand and relate with each other.

               2. Mixed school help to understand that boys and girls aren't that different.

               3.At the end, out of school, we have to work together.

Conclusion: It's good that boys and girls share the classroom.

-OPINION-

Some people say that single sex schools are better for both sexes but other people say that mixed school are better. We agree with the second view for many reasons:

To begin with, boys and girls have to understand and learn to relate to each other, in a single sex school that's impossible. Also mixed schools help to understand that boys and girls aren't that different. Finally, out of school, we have to work together, we have to learn to coexist.

In conclusion both sexes should share the classroom for a better understanding of each other.

Opinion Essay- Watching too much TV

Hi there!

Here's my first writing, an opinion essay, that I did a couple of weeks ago. My teacher helped me a little bit correcting the things that I did wrong. Sorry if my opinion offends someone, it is not my intention.

For this Opinion Essay, my teacher gave me a phrase and I have had to write what I think about.

So, first of all, I did a brainstorming (That I have copied down below) and then with my clearer opinions and helping myself with the brainstorming I started writing. 

OPINION   ESSAY

"It is often said that watching too much television makes people stupid" Do you agree? 

·BRAINSTORMING

→Opinion: Watching too much the television makes people stupid.

→Reasons:

1     .     If the teenagers watch a lot TV they don’t have enough time to study/do homework.

2     .     Most of people watch the TV for entertaining not for learning and they watch programs of comedy or of people fighting for no reasons.

3     .     After a couple of hours or less the view is tired and you can have problems about it.

→In conclusion:

1.     There are more bad reasons of watching too much the TV that good.

2.     We can spend more time doing positive/productive things that watching TV.

Researches say that in Spain we watch TV four hours per day; others say that watching the TV more than three hours per day, the risk of death raises.

In my opinion, watching the television makes people more stupid. I think that a lot of parents say this, but the reason is not only because of TV, the problem is the parents, that buy TVs for their children’s rooms, or they give permission to their kids to watch the television too much. Do you agree with my opinion? If you’re not sure, here are three reasons why I think that way.

First of all, most of the people watch TV for entertaining not for learning and they watch programs of comedy or of people fighting for no reasons, and they waste their time. Moreover if we concentrate in teenagers, a lot of them watch TV and they don’t study or do their homework. Lastly I have to say that after a couple of hours or less, the sight is tired and you can have problems about it.

In conclusion, there are more bad reasons of watching too much TV; and of course the time we spend watching it takes us time to do other interesting things such as reading, running… positive and productive things.
